APENOSA-D Injection

Apenosa-D (Diclofenac Sodium Injection IP): It is provided as a solution for injection, containing 75 mg Diclofenac sodium in 3 ml, to be given by intramuscularly ( into a muscle) or intravenously (into a vein) as an infusion. 

  • Apenosa-D is a new propylene glycol-free and reduced volume formulation of Diclofenac Sodium 75 mg/ ml.
  • Apenosa-D is found to be bioequivalent to a reference Diclofenac Sodium 75 mg/ 3ml.
  • The mean plasma concentration and time to reach maximum plasma concentration for Apenosa-D were 1.3 mcg/ml and 0.50 hours. Verses 0.93 mcg/ml and 1.08 hours for the Reference formulation.
  • Apenosa-D attributes to faster absorption from the deltoid region than from the gluteal region.

  • Post-traumatic & post-operative pain, Inflammation & swelling.

  • Acute attack of Gout.
